Exploring What's New in Warzone Season 2

Season 2 of Warzone has arrived, bringing a plethora of exciting updates, including a returning map, fresh events and modes, gameplay tweaks, and much more!

One of the highlights of this update is the return of Fortune's Keep, which comes with several enhancements. Among these enhancements are Extendable Bridges, providing players with new traversal options across gaps in the fallen roadways. These bridges, controlled by small consoles, can be extended or retracted to navigate tricky terrain, adding a dynamic element to gameplay.

The Points of Interest (POIs) on the map have also undergone changes, with notable locations such as Rear Dock and Caves, Fishing Docks and Cliff Paths, Graveyard, and various town areas receiving updates.

Additionally, the Squad Wipe Streak feature has been introduced, denoted by a "Skull and Sickles" icon. This icon tracks the number of consecutive squad wipes achieved within 90-second windows during a match. As players rack up these streaks, a white flare signals their aggression, allowing rival squads to take notice. Competing with other squads to reach milestones in Squad Wipe streaks unlocks exclusive in-game rewards like Calling Cards and Emblems.

In the Resurgence mode on Fortune's Keep, a new Eradication Contract has been introduced. Players are tasked with investigating corpses to locate Zombie Nests, which are causing localized Zombie activity on the island. Destroying the cysts and eliminating any Zombie High-Value Targets (HVTs) within the Contract's timeframe adds an exciting twist to the gameplay experience.

Overall, the Season 2 update for Warzone promises to deliver thrilling new content and gameplay enhancements, keeping players engaged and entertained as they explore the ever-evolving landscape of Verdansk.
